Information we use

CycloSim uses your student email address for sign-in, one-time-password verification, and account or license status. The email address is not displayed to other users through the workspace.

We use only the information needed to provide access, protect the service, deliver updates, and diagnose failures.

Your projects and files

Project files, HDL source code, and waveform data stay on your computer unless you explicitly export, upload, or submit them through a feature that clearly says it will send them.

User-facing errors are designed to avoid exposing local filesystem paths or other private computer details.

Network requests

The website and desktop application may contact CycloSim services for authentication, one-time-password delivery, licensing, update checks, and required diagnostics.

If a request fails, the application shows an offline or retry status. It does not make your local project files public because a connection check failed.

Your choices

Do not submit project files or personal information unless the relevant feature clearly explains why it is needed. Keep your email account secure and never share one-time-password codes.
